YB3 series explosion proof three-phase induction electric motor is applicable to be used a place containing explosive mixtures of iammable gas or vapour and air. YB3 ranges of three-phase induction motors are flameproof motors obtained by renewal and generation-changing of YB2, YB ranges of motors. The performances of the products have come up to advanced international standards. YB3 series of motors meet GB755-2008 “Rotating electrical machines-Rating and performance”, company standards of Q/320206JLAB01-2009 “ Technical specification of YB3 series of flameproof three-phase induction motor (Frame Number: H63~355)”. Their flameproof performance should meet GB3836.1-2010《Explosive atmospheresPart1: Apparatus General requirements》 and GB3836.2-2010《Explosive atmospheres, Part2: Apparatus protected by the crust for flameproof “d” 》. The flameproof types of this series motors are ExdI, ExdIIAT4 and ExdIIBT4，and suitable for the non-mining working area in underground mine or the dangerous locations in factories where there are the explosive gas of class IIA and IIB and temperature of class T1～T4. YB3 series motors have the following types: humid tropics type (YB3-TH), dry tropics type (YB3-TA), outdoor type (YB3-W), outdoor medium-anticorrosion type (YB3-WF1) and outdoor humid type (YB3-THW),outdoor dry tropics type (YB3-TAW), indoor tropics type (YB3-T), outdoor tropics type (YB3-TW).

In the moistest month, the monthly-average maximums relative humidity is 90%, and the minimum temperature does not exceed 25℃ in this month (in the factory). In the underground coal mine, the highest relative humidity does not exceed 95%. In the underground coal mine (non-excavating working) or the factory have easy-ignition and explosive gas , steam and air mixtures , which temperature class T1~T4.
